Problems we solved

Cabinet painting is one of the highest-impact updates a kitchen can receive — when the prep and application method match the goal. This Navarre project replaced a dark, dated wood tone with a clean Alabaster finish and modern hardware.

Kitchen cabinets fail when grease, hand oils, and prior coatings are not fully degreased and scuffed before primer. We removed doors and drawers, labeled each piece, and cleaned every surface that would receive new coating.

After degreasing, we scuff-sanded to break the gloss and applied Extreme Bond Primer to lock adhesion. Doors and drawer fronts were sprayed in a controlled setup to achieve a smooth, factory-like finish without brush marks on large flat panels.

Face frames were masked and sprayed in place with the same system so color and sheen matched across the kitchen. The homeowner selected brushed-nickel pulls to replace outdated hardware, completing the visual update without changing cabinet layout.
